If you’re bored…

or have some time to kill, I recommend reading up on some of the sites that I link to from my blog roll.
Though I like all the sites listed, I still have a few favourites. Most noteworthy are:
China related:
Shenzhen Zen:
Justin who runs this site initially sparked my interest for blogging. I accidentally ended up there in the search for some translation software when I saw the word ‘Shenzhen‘. So I read an entry or two, and was forever caught. Before 10 days I had read all. Justin has great observations about Shenzhen / China / the Chinese. His subtle humour about the serious issues to life is just excellent. Read his ramblings yourself and find out.
Jamie Doom:
I found this guys blog a long time ago, but never really knew what to think about it. At first I found it somewhat odd and confusing, but as I read more of his stuff I came to like his unpredictable side. A must-read if you think you are crazy and need to be reassured. Always good for a laugh, but just note that Doom does not always update his blog regularly.
Sinobling:
Like Jamie Doom a mix of bizarre observations and craziness. Before entering this site, remember to wear your protective eye gear to compensate for the sites colouring.
Talk Talk China: (note: TTC stopped blogging, and the link is therefore dead)
3 loco foreigners in China ramble on about life in China, and the mysteries that surround them. Though this site also seem to have become a spam heaven for stray commenters, ‘trolls‘ and really bitter ‘laowai‘, it does not take away the fact that this site is great. The entries made by these guys are both sharp and funny in their observations.
Sinosplice – Life:
Beside a good blog about his life in China, this site contains THE portal for anyone who search for bloggers involved or living in China. You can sort all added blogs in place, name and so on. This is the fat spider in the middle of the web for what I know.
Non-China stuff:
Millington:
Women are from Venus – explained! We all know that the female species is strange, but this guy breaks it down to us all with own experiences spiced with a good British dry wit. One downside though, the colouring and layout of the homepage will make you cringe. If you are able to look past that, you’re in for good reading.
