Wake up and smell the…. meat?

Since last year I dropped about 20kg of overweight. My wife is pleased, but I am still 15 kg from my goal. The last 3-4 months have been status quo though I have been eating healthier generally. I also get my daily exercise using my bicycle to work. Still no result. I stay at about 103kg
As all good wives should, mine has begun thinking out plans on how to re-activate my weight loss. Not that I mind, since I am now stuck, and does not feel the urge of entering some crazed weight loss diet at Weight Watchers or similar. I don’t like those “clubs” even though I have high respect for them.
I don’t like them, because I hate having bad conscious about wanting to drink a beer once and a while. I lost my initial 20kg eating more healthy and walking some km in the evening. I was not fanatical and don’t want to be. A beer or glass of wine should not be neglected. All respect to WW and similar, but the diets you follow limits your social life (and life in general) considerable in my view. I know some people have great success and praise them, and hats off to them. It’s just not for me though.
So I like my wife’s suggestion much better. She insists that eating warm breakfast is essential, and even more so, eating meat. Yes you heard me: M-E-A-T. This means warm food in the morning, and some meat. Instead I can’t eat meat for supper, which is quite ok with me. Chinese food can be great even without meat involved. I have absolutely no problem with eating warm food for breakfast as long as I don’t have to get up and cook. So the deal is: C cooks, I eat. Sweetness!
Today we had warm fried ribs with Chinese bread. Yummy! The two days before we had Chinese beef with rice and salad. Yummy too.
I know some people would be absolutely disgusted by eating warm food in the morning, but I really don’t mind. It still tastes good no matter when you eat it. My only concern is the extra time it takes to cook, but since C cooks this is not a problem (for me at least).
