Pedal to the medal?

Mar 31st, 2007 by Peter

Tomorrow I’ll be rushing to the computer to check up on my internet speed. My provider TDC informed me that the download speed should be doubled from a 4Mbit to 8mbit. Good show.

Now I’ll just cross my fingers for for my recent loss and choke in Counter-strike to dissapear too.

UPDATE: Apparently it must have been a joke. Nothing happened yet. Guess I’ll give them a call tomorrow when they open their phone service again. Anyone else here in DK who were luckier with their TDC upgrade?

UPDATE II: Seems that TDC decided that the upgrade should be done during April, and not pr. 1st April as I think I remember they wrote initially. Maybe I just read too fast, or maybe they adjusted the news on their homepage. Anyway, back to waiting. :-(

Wow,I think ur internet speed is pretty,4mb/s is good enough for u to do everything u want.
I just get 512k/s provided by china netcom,it’s so expensive to get a higher speed internet service. it sucks.

Yeah, well, nothing happened yet. Think they fell asleep at the keyboard or something. Still a 4mbit line. :-(

Finally I recieved the much needed upgrade today. So a test shows that we now have an 8064/512 connection instead. Sweet.

Lets just hope they fixed the lag/ping/choke/loss problems at the same time. I complained 4 times now, including logs of shitty ping and lost connection. Maybe it helped, who knows.

    I’ll keep my fingers crossed.
