It’s the thought that counts

Nov 8th, 2010 by Peter

As promised in an older post, here’s the picture of one of the gifts we got for our boy. It’s a pair of “special” Chinese pants:

crotchless pants

Great that someone gave you those as a gift. I was tempted to get those for a friend’s baby while I was still living in China. She probably would’ve killed me.

I never really understood…during wintertime the Chinese can put more layers of clothes on their kids than there is month in a year…to keep them warm..and THEN they have the crack in the pants..and then they will be EXTREMELY cool when they squat down..as small children(and all other chinese;-)often do..dont get it! And then on top of it..if a boy then has to wear PINK…thats a NO GO ;-)

My thoughts exactly. The Pink thing seems to be a normal Chinese thing, but not sure I want to be the fist to introduce that trend to DK ;-)
