My name is Kamilla, and I’m from denmark!!
– we don’t usually eat that. – it looks disgusting!
no one (exept for old people maybe) would eat that. That dark bread, rugbrød (rugbrod), is actually very helthy, and a lot healthier than your white bred. It has got a lot of corn in it.
Don’t you eat cheese and butter? I thought almost everyone did? s:
and that remoulade, is actually just like mayonnaise, with curry and maybe som onions in it. It isn’t that bad! Seriously, stop dissing our food. Our food is at least healthy, unlike yours.
She puts ham on later? so what. The girl has got a bad taste, so what. Actually, I don’t think you could care less.
Uhm…. Kamilla… I’m from Denmark too. Didn’t you get that part?
My wife is Chinese and lives here in DK with me. When I wrote this entry she had only been here 1½ year and she didn’t have the right pieces together when we talk rugbrød and pÃ¥læg. It ought to be a funny observation, but since you’re not a regular here, you probably didn’t get that.
This entry was not meant as disrespect to Danish food, but more as an example of stuff that happens when two cultures collide. Also you shouldn’t defend Danish food by disrespecting Chinese food. You obviously don’t know how huge a repertoire of dishes China have. Denmark could learn a lot from the Chinese in that regard.
I’m a stupid comment spammer. Kill me.
