Wednesday, Mark decided to follow in his 7 year old cousin’s footsteps, climb our living room table and jump down.
Unfortunately this during was the same 2 minutes, where I for the first time ever decided, that “He should be ok playing unattended with his cousin” while I finished my dinner. I would have stopped him if I was there of course, but alas I weren’t.
Result: 3 tiny fractions in his right foot and a cask for 14 days. By all means it is a minor injury, and could have been far worse. In the end he should be fine again, but he sure was pitiable until the cask came on yesterday afternoon.
People think I’m exaggerating when I say we have to watch the little rascal all the time. But I’m not. He’s crammed with energy and curiosity. Dynamite combo for a 2 year old.
